This project goal is to provide hybrid, digitally-focused, non-credit Pandemic Preparedness and Response to the minority and populations at large in the Midwest region through a non-credit program.

Solution

This project will focus on the implementation of a program to educate and train future leaders to be prepared for the next pandemic and to build on current responses to COVID-19 and emerging variants.

 

The program will consist of three sections: 

  1. Implementing a Pandemic Preparedness and Response Program 
  2. Managing During a Crisis 
  3. Divulging Vaccine Awareness: Biopharma 101 (hands-on experience) 


Outputs/Deliverables

Developed a series of three workshops on the pandemic to include, Implementing a Pandemic Response Plan, Managing Through a Crisis, and Divulging Vaccine Awareness: Biopharama 101 — A Remote Hands-on Experience

Impacts

Reduce the fear of pandemics

Contribute to reducing the risk of systemic health and social inequities among the population at large

Provide hybrid, digitally focused training and tools that may be used to combat a pandemic among minorities and population at large that are transferable to diverse industries
