NIIMBL Welcomes Bradley Yops, NIIMBL Senior Counsel

NIIMBL is pleased to welcome Bradley Yops, who joins our team as NIIMBL Senior Counsel, effective immediately.

Brad brings extensive experience in technology transfer having served as the University of Delaware’s Director of Technology Transfer prior to becoming Assistant General Counsel in 2019. He is admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Brad received his B.S. in Biology from Kansas State University, an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and J.D. from the University of Kansas.

Brad takes over for Fatimah Conley who was recently named Interim Chief Diversity Officer for the University of Delaware. Fatimah served as Senior Counsel since NIIMBL’s inception in 2017 and has played a pivotal role in building our institute, including contributing to the development of the institute’s membership structure and bylaws as well as spearheading collaborative agreements to launch innovation projects. In addition, she helped lay the groundwork for NIIMBL’s inclusion efforts to help foster more diversity in the biopharmaceutical industry, including helping to develop the “eXperience” program.

“Fatimah has been a valued colleague since the beginning and her contributions have been essential to the institute’s successes. We are grateful for Fatimah’s guidance and leadership and wish her the best in her important new position to create a more inclusive community at the University of Delaware,” said Institute Director, Kelvin Lee. “I’ve worked with Brad on many matters over the years and am excited that he will join as our Counsel. We will also benefit from his technical background which will be an asset to our community.”
